Clear, Straightforward Rules for Modifying or Voiding Your Ride
At Sammamish Taxi, we keep our cancellation policies simple and fair. Please review our timeframes below to change or cancel your ride without penalty.
Standard Cancellation Windows
To receive a full refund, you must notify us before your scheduled pickup according to these timelines:
Local Eastside Rides: Cancel at least 2 hours before your scheduled pickup.
Airport Transfers (SeaTac / BFI / PAE): Cancel at least 3 hours before your scheduled pickup.
Long-Distance & Passenger Van Bookings: Cancel at least 12 hours before your scheduled pickup.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made outside these windows, or failure to meet your driver within your designated wait time, will result in a 100% charge of the flat rate fare to cover driver time and fuel.
Airline Delays & Cancellations
You will never be penalized for airline schedule disruptions:
Flight Delays: We track your commercial flight in real-time. If your flight is delayed, your pickup time adjusts automatically at no extra cost.
Flight Cancellations: If your airline cancels your flight, notify us immediately via phone or email for a 100% full refund, regardless of the standard cancellation window.
Complimentary Wait Times
We offer generous grace periods at your pickup location before wait fees apply:
Residential & Hotel Pickups: 5 minutes of free wait time.
Domestic Airport Arrivals: 30 minutes of free wait time from the moment your plane lands.
International Airport Arrivals: 45 minutes of free wait time to allow for customs clearing.
How to Cancel or Modify Your Ride
Check Your Time: Ensure you are within the penalty-free window.
Contact Us: For immediate changes, call our 24/7 dispatch. For future trips, click the cancellation link in your email confirmation.
Get Confirmation: Our system will instantly process your request and send an automated cancellation email.
Note: Approved refunds are issued immediately back to your original payment method (Credit Card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay) and typically take 3 to 5 business days to appear on your banking statement.
